In this role, he possesses leadership responsibility for the equities platform including managing more than 120 investment professionals across the firm's global investment centers. George joined Principal in 2023, most recently serving as Head of Equities - Americas at Janus Henderson where he was a member of the firm’s executive committee, and as lead portfolio manager on the firm’s international and global alpha equity strategies where the international fund received the 2024 Lipper Award.* Prior to Janus Henderson, George was lead portfolio manager of the domestic core, international core and global equity strategies at Northern Trust Global Investments. Maris additionally was at Columbia Management Group serving as portfolio manager on its large-cap and mid-cap core domestic equity strategies. He previously was portfolio manager, equity analyst and derivatives strategist at Maris received a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Swarthmore College, Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois, and Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago. George is a holder of the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Putnam Investments, where the convertible securities strategy he co-managed also received the 2004 Lipper Award.** George guest lectured at several universities including the MIT Sloan School of Management, Wake Forest University and University of Denver. In addition, he is a member of the Executive Advisory Board of the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.

He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Iowa.

Tiểu sử	Crispin joined the funds management business of BT Financial Group, now Pendal Group, in 1994, Crispin was initially responsible for European equities and served as Head of European Equities from April 1998, He was subsequently appointed to his current role as Head of Equities in January 2003 after developing a strong track record during the prior eight years. Crispin is responsible for managing a number of our flagship funds, as well as leading one of the largest equities teams in Australia.
