He has been Co-Portfolio Manager of the Perkins Value Plus Income strategy since its inception in July 2010. Prior to joining Perkins, Mr. Kautz worked as a market maker and specialist on the Chicago Stock Exchange for G.V.R. Company. He was also a senior consultant for Andersen Consulting. Mr. Kautz received his bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA, with a concentration in finance, from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Prior to co-founding Perkins, Wolf, McDonnell and Company, LLC (now Perkins Investment Management LLC) in 1980, Mr. Perkins spent 12 years with Kemper Financial. From 1970 to 1980, he also co-managed Kemper’s profit-sharing plan. Mr. Perkins received his bachelor of science degree in business from Miami University.

Mr. Decker is also Co-Portfolio Manager of the Janus Long/Short strategy and Co-Portfolio Manager and Executive Vice President of Janus Long/Short Fund. He has been managing alpha-seeking strategies for Janus since becoming a portfolio manager in 1997. Mr. Decker joined Janus in August 1992 as an equity research analyst focusing on automotives, chemicals and defense stocks. Prior to joining Janus, he was a credit analyst at NationsBank. Mr. Decker received his bachelor of arts degree in economics and political science from Tufts University and he received his MBA in finance from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has 21 years of financial industry experience.
