He was employed by Merrill Lynch from 1993 to 2006. Robert is a member of the firm’s Senior Leadership Team. He earned his Master’s degree at Rutgers University Business School and an undergraduate degree at the University of Connecticut. He is a CFA Charterholder.

In addition, John was named Vice Chairman in September 2022 and oversees the firm’s investment teams. Before joining MacKay, he was the Chairman and co-founder of Mariner Municipal Managers from 2007 to 2009. He has been a municipal portfolio manager and/or municipal analyst since 1990, with a broad range of portfolio management and analytic experience in the municipal markets. John was a Managing Director and Co-Head of BlackRock’s Municipal Portfolio Management Group (from 2006 to 2007). Prior to BlackRock’s merger with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM), he served as Chief Investment Officer of the Municipal Products Group. He was employed by Merrill Lynch from 1990 to 2006. Before Merrill Lynch, he worked for the City of Boston Treasury Department. John is a member of the firm’s Senior Leadership Team. He graduated with an MBA and Certificate of Public Management from Boston University and with a Bachelors degree in Finance, cum laude, from Utah State University where he was a Harry S. Truman Scholar. He is a CFA Charterholder.

She manages tax-sensitive fixed income portfolios for larger institutional, insurance and high net worth clients. She joined the company in 1995 from Gannett, Welsh & Kotler, where she was vice president responsible for municipal bond research and trading. Christine has an M.B.A. from Boston University and a B.A. from Georgetown University. Christine is a Trustee for the Dedham Institution for Savings and a rotating member of its Board of Investment, as well as a member of Lahey Health System’s Investment Committee. She is a Trustee of The Fessenden School and part of the Finance Committee at Dedham Country Day School. Christine is also active in alumni affairs for Georgetown University and the Noble & Greenough School. Christine is a mentor at Year Up, which seeks to close the Opportunity Divide for urban youth. She is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society and the National Federation of Municipal Analysts. Christine holds the CFA® designation and has 26 years of investment experience.
Michael Faloon	Quantitative Analyst, Portfolio Manager	2008	2009
Tiểu sử	At Standish, Faloon is the Quantitative Analyst and Portfolio Manager for Tax Sensitive Strategies, responsible for housing/quantitative research and assessing relative value of option imbedded securities. He also performs scenario analysis and evaluates index composition versus portfolio positioning. He joined Standish in 1999 from Fidelity Investments. Faloon holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Laurie Walters	Portfolio Manager	2000	2008
Tiểu sử	Walters is a portfolio manager for MacKay Shields, which she joined in 1997. She worked previously as a mortgage trader at Bear Stearns & Co from September 1994 to February 1995 and with Nomura Securities International from 1987 to 1994. Prior to this, she was an investment banking analyst at Painewebber, Inc.
