Gerald has been a Portfolio Manager of the Asia Strategic Income Fund since the Fund’s inception in 2011.

Mr. Volpert joined Vanguard in 1992 and has over 35 years (24 with Vanguard) of fixed income management experience. He earned a B.S. in finance from the University of Illinois-Urbana and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. Additionally, Mr. Volpert has been a CFA® charterholder since 1984.
