He then worked in Hong Kong as a portfolio manager for Asian ex-Japan portfolios. In 1993, he moved to the Tokyo office, where he added co-management of the firm's Japanese equity products to his responsibilities. Mr. Alderson is a graduate of University of Edinburgh where he earned an M.A. (hons.) in economics.
