Before joining RBC Global Asset Management in early 2014, Luis spent over eight years at First State focusing on IT & telecoms. He joined the team from the sell side firm, Sanford Bernstein, where he was an Analyst from 2001 covering the European engineering sector. Previous experience includes roles at McKinsey as a Management Consultant specialising in utilities and telecommunications both in Spain and the US, as well as five years in industry as a Research Engineer with Telefonica in Spain. Luis holds an MBA from MIT›s Sloan School of Management and a degree and MSc in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

Marcus holds a BCom in Finance and Economics from Bond University, Queensland, Australia and a graduate diploma in Applied Finance from the Securities Institute of Australia.

Previous experience includes roles at Threadneedle Asset Management as an Investment Analyst and Head of the Banking Sector team where the prime focus of her role was on European financials, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority as a Senior Investment Analyst in the Pan-European Equity team, Morley Asset Management as Head of Financial Research and Goldman Sachs Asset Management as a Fund Manager/Analyst. Julie is an Associate of the UK Society of Investment Professionals. She also holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Banking and International Finance from City, University of London.

He joined RBC Global Asset Management in early 2014, after having worked at First State for over nine years in the same capacity. His previous experience includes Industrials-related investment banking and equity research roles at JPMorgan. At JPMorgan he was recognised with a #1 Thomson Extel rating for European Building & Construction research. Additionally, Perry has over five years Emerging Markets experience gained mainly in New York at Salomon Brothers and BNP Paribas, where he was also Director of Research for Latin America. Perry holds a BA (Honours) in Economic History from Durham University.

In addition he is the team›s ESG expert and sits in a non-executive advisory capacity for Responsible Investment and ESG for a leading UK investment trust. Prior to joining RBC Global Asset Management in early 2014 Ben worked in the same capacity for three years at First State Investments. Previous experience includes roles at Atlantic Equities where Ben was responsible for global healthcare research with a special focus on the US and at ABN AMRO where he was recognised with a #1 Thomson Extel rating across all sectors for integrated ESG research. In 2012, Ben won the Starmine award for best stock picker in Healthcare. Ben holds an MA (Natural Science) from Cambridge University gaining the top first in his year. He won a scholarship to Harvard University and studied there at post graduate level specialising in behavioural neuroscience. Ben is a CFA charterholder and a member of the UK›s Financial Reporting Council›s Investor Advisory Group.

Before joining RBC Global Asset Management in early 2014, Dag spent eight years with the Global Equity team at First State in the same capacity. Prior to this, Dag was at Dimensional Fund Advisors (DFA) where he held various quantitative research roles in London and California and was also a member of the London investment committee. Previous experience includes various investment roles at Carnegie Asset Management in Norway, Finland and Sweden, and a research role at Statistics Norway. Dag holds a Masters in Finance from the London Business School and an MSc in Economics from the University of Oslo in Norway.
