Before CIIC, Amr was a relationship manager in the corporate banking group at Citibank NA and before that was a treasury analyst at Shell Egypt NY (Royal Dutch/Shell).Amr obtained a B.Sc in Economics and Political Science from Cairo University, Egypt and earned and an M.B.A. from the university of Pittsburgh, USA.

He has also worked as a Research Analyst covering engineering and finance where his responsibilities included co-managing a mid-cap investment trust and two specialist unit trusts. Austin earned a BA and a PhD in Modern Languages from Cambridge University.
